Born in 1978, Per Schorn discovered his love for photography during a high school project – without realizing that this hobby would someday turn into his vocation.
After taking pictures at concerts for several years, Per decided to become a professional photographer and started to study design at Darmstadt University in 2003.
To become acquainted with various styles within the industry he worked as assistant for well-known national and international photographers during his studies.
In addition to his work as a photographer in 2012 Per got the opportunity to share his experiences as well as his passion as an associate professor at Darmstadt University for practice-oriented photography and continued to do so until 2014.
His true passion is people photography: being able to glimpse behind the curtain and capture people in all their facets.
Per is professional member of the BFF and his work has been rewarded at: Katapult, New to the eye, and D&AD.
